Engineers Without Borders presents: Peace Corps for Engineers

I’m thrilled to announce that on Wednesday 3/1 at 6:00-7:30pm in Baldy 101, we will be hosting Anne Tatarsky, Returned Peace Corps Volunteer & WNY Peace Corps Recruiter, to share her Peace Corps (PC) experience and to answer any questions you may have about the PC. Since EWB is hosting this event, her presentation will be geared towardsengineers, but EVERYONE is encouraged to attend!

The PC is a government-run volunteer program in which people, typically holding a bachelor’s degree, can serve in an underdeveloped community around the world for 2 years to help them grow! All expenses are covered and there are student loan benefits upon return. Most projects are not engineering focused, as illustrated below, so as long as you have passion to help the developing world, the PC will find a place for you!
