3.2 billion people live in areas at risk of malaria transmission in 106 countries and territories, and the WHO estimated in 2015 that there were 214 million clinical episodes, and 438,000 deaths from it—the vast of majority of which occur in developing nations. Come hear Professor Halfon present on some important steps being taken to prevent mosquito-transmitted disease to spread.
